Battery Drains to Fast? - Here's some tips.

Having problems with your battery? Does it drains too fast? You might think that the battery was damaged already, and which its not. :) 


Here's some tips from me. And FYI, this tips is based on my own experience with this phone. 


Set Your Brightness Level.
The brighter you screen, it will drain your battery more ! Best brightness level is keep it below 20%


Screen Timeout.
Put the screen to sleep mode helps a lot in improving your battery life. Why keep the screen on when doing nothing with the phone right? I'm using 30 seconds timeout, and it pretty good. Make experiments with your own devices. :)


Turn Off Not-in-use Features.
This one is one of the biggest culprit that draining your phone's battery. You might not noticed them. Keep WiFi, Mobile Data and GPS off when not in use. 


Use 2G Network.
You might want to set this one when you're not subscribing to any mobile internet data plan. It quite saves your battery life.


Don't Use Live Wallpapers.
Ahh, this one. Nice wallpaper, with smooth animation. This actually drains your battery quite a lot. Well, its up to you whether  you prefer stylish backgroud/wallpaper over battery life.


Kill Apps Running Background.
Sometimes some apps running by themselves without you running them manually. What if it runs Facebook application, and using your data plan? It will use some of the battery power of course. So I suggest you to install Advanced Task Killer by ReChild. Well, we're gonna get harsh this time :P. Go to Advanced Task Killer > Settings > Auto Kill > Crazy > Auto Kill Frequency > When Screen Off. It works flawlesssssssssly! It will show you a toast message how many apps were killed. Pretty useful eh? :)


Monitor Your Battery Usage
You can check what has been using your battery by checking at Settings > About Phone > Battery Use. Make experiments, don't be lazy :P


Also for Rooted devices, you can install Battery Calibration by NéMa. Read the description carefully (at the market). The app works great in my device :)
