[ROOT][CM7] How to apply HDPI themes on MDPI devices

This guide explains how to use themes for HDPI devices on MDPI devices. The operation is not too difficult to do but always involves a minimum of risk. Do it on your own RISK

This guide works on CM7 Theme, I have tested it and working on my Xperia X8 running GingerDX v31b with nAa kernel. (it should work on stock and other kernel too)

Basic Requirements:

Rooted Xperia X8(it will works with other MDPI device) running CyanogenMod 7.

Here is step by step instruction

1. Download DPI Changer
2. Open the app, and select 240 DPI.
3. Click Save and Reboot your device.
4. After reboot, go to your theme chooser and apply the HDPI theme.
5. Ignore the message. ( "Sorry, this theme id missing asset" )
6. Go to the app again and change density from 240 to 160.
7. Click "Save" & reboot your device again
8. Wait for end the reboot.
